"Unity"


Today is the first day of the Kwanzaa Celebration. It's always been my belief that during a time like this we should celebrate all the holidays not just Christmas. Which is what most people do, but like the principle of today that doesn't promote Unity.

I think we should be unified not with our family, friends and ethnic classes. But with ourselves foremost.

You can't promote unity, if you are unsure what it truly is and what meaning it holds. You can try as hard as you want. But like all things if you can't first discover it within yourself you won't be getting far in your endeavors.

So for today, learn to be unified. Learn how to have unity with yourself. Learn how to have unity with someone else, maybe a new friend, that new kid at school or maybe even someone on your favorite social network.
