I came across this article a few weeks ago and knew just by the title it was something that I wanted to include for Condom Week this year. The Origins of Sex Toys and Lube.

To me Lube seems to be a modern thing, I always wondered what they did in the hay day even way before Vaseline was invented. I wouldn't've guessed that they used olive oil as a lubricant. Not saying it's bad and I've heard it does wonders for the skin, I can only say what it does for my hair lol.

However going through the 10 item list of awesomeness, I can't help but giggle at how sex toys and lube got their mark on the world. Usually by accident but the next surprising thing is how many YEARS ago this all happened! Forget 70's porn, this is the naughty stuff your great-great grandma refuses to talk about. And I don't blame her lol.

This particular article takes it a step further and I must say I learned a few things I never would've consider. Especially about tampons, being a female I consider them the most evilest things ever. However I've changed my outlook after reading how helpful they can be. I would recommend the unscented ones of course. I don't think I can deal with flowery filtered water. Yes, tampons can be used as a water filter. 

Hell I needed the lube to unfreeze a few things for me with the crazy weather we've been having.

I think some people make safe sex out to be evil and demented. It's not true. Like I said last year not all of us are going to get married and some of us really don't want to. So you have to punish yourself being a virgin?? NOOO. If the opportunity presents it self, take a hold of it and if you have a gut feeling it isn't what you want right at that moment, that's fine too. But do what's best for you and do it as safely as possible.

Officially Missing You

To get over my sour ass feeling from the other night. Which was I ended up finding myself getting played by a dude and I don't like that shit. I don't underestimate it won't happened but to act like I have little to no brain and I have to accept that you feel that way I'm not going to accept. Luckily I can't be mad because I didn't end up in a complicated shitty ass situation and have to wonder how I got in it.

Plus work was shitty last night, and I'll talk more about that. But yeah I was in such a bad mood I wanted to smoke marijuana and even drink. I decided to go for the latter, in the mean time I smoked up my cigarettes and cigarillos. Unfortunately I didn't consider the liquor store because I was too agitated. And decided to go today or yesterday....

But it was Presidents' Day and all the establishments were closed. How lame was that??? Luckily the grocery store sales some wines, malt liquors and beers. I got bud light straw-ber-rita and Smirnoff ice raspberry and came home. After making another batch of terrible pork chops I was happy to get my drink on. So I had two smirnoffs and one bud light. And was flying high happily. After doing a few things and watching tv I decided to go to bed. 

However lying here in bed I encounter a feeling. Never have I felt this lonely. I actually wanted to crawl into bed and cuddle up next to someone and fall asleep contentedly. Then I wonder if I should try to make friends or go out and meet someone or something. Then I could help my listen to my wavering heart and hesitate that want because I know sober I won't be able to do so. 

Yet the tears escapes my eyes and my heart is desiring having another beat rythymly with another. To be comforted with a warm embrace would be lovely. But I also know it's unlikely to happen. But in case it does I'm be patiently waiting here for him.

I'm officially missing them....

I think this post still speaks volumes even if it's seasoned with age now. However there are still tons of people I'm finding who believe they know the ins & outs (get your giggles now....) about sex who are still clueless to the whole process of it.

Happy Condom Week 2014!!

I started writing this a good month or so before, but ended up being busy on Valentine's Day and yesterday and couldn't get back to it until today.

First I want to wish everyone a Happy Condom week! And I hope that you all are practicing safe sex and learning that condoms are more than just pocket decorations.

Anyway this year we're going to have a recap of last year's Condom week. Also in the process throwing out a few tidbits here and there. Not trying to be completely lazy, but we also don't want to keep going over the same things again and again right??

So everyday will have a recap of posts that were posted the previous year. Try saying that 5 times fast lol. So you guys will be able to go check out what happened last year without having to search it and if you missed anything you'll be able to check that out. Luckily I did that ahead of time for you all too! But there will be informative aspects like always and I found quite a few things this year that I'm happy that I can use this year.

So many times, men and women both forget that even though sex may be fun and enjoyable it also has the consequence of pregnancy. If that's not something you're ready to do NOW then you need to be more considerate of your actions. Regardless of how good it feels raw or bare back. If you don't want to be a soccer mom or the new chauffeur of a minivan I suggest you consider practicing safe sex and no funny business either. I can honestly tell you having an STD and being pregnant by someone who didn't want me or the baby is a sucky situation to be in.
